Tampa, FL Dream Pop

Born out of the hardcore/punk scene in Tampa, FL, Planet Loser is the brain child of Ethan Murphy (Formerly of metallic hardcore band Blistered) and long-time partner Amber Lewis. Drawing influence from classic bands like The Cranberries, The Sundays and Cocteau Twins, as well as contemporary acts like Hatchie, Caroline Loveglow, and Beabadoobee, they released their debut self-titled EP in 2018 via 6131 Records. Throughout 2020, they released a string of singles, including “Around The Clouds”, a jangly, lush, textured track that has been featured on Spotify’s “Dreampop” playlist. In February 2023, they released “Glow”, a 90s inspired synth-pop track with an accompanying video. 2023 will see more new music and live shows for the duo, with their next single, “Second Guessing” slated to drop in early March.
